Local Motive Showcase, a Non-Profit Festival

Casual Animal Brewing Company spotlights the spirit of community in their first annual Local Motive Showcase – a non-profit festival bringing together all organizations benefiting from their Local Motive “give-back” program since they opened in 2018. Including more than 20 non-profits, the event promises a family-friendly afternoon of fun and hyper-local engagement through food, music, and craft beer.
 
"The Local Motive campaign is an innovative initiative by Casual Animal Brewing to support Kansas City's nonprofit community,” states Victoria Wymer, Director of Race Operations and Community Engagement at Girls on the Run KC. “Through this thoughtful partnership, charities can raise awareness, secure essential funds, and engage with the local community—all while supporting a small, local business. Local Motive raised over $3,000 for Girls on the Run, making a significant impact on our mission. We’re thrilled to participate in the first-ever Local Motive Showcase on September 28th, where attendees can enjoy local brews and activities while learning about and supporting local nonprofits."
 
Since opening in 2018, Casual Animal’s Local Motive program has served as the brewery’s “give-back tap” program where $2 of every pint sold off the Local Motive tap goes directly to a designated non-profit. To date, the program has raised over $80,000 for local non-profits providing critical services that make our community safer, stronger, and more empowered in health, literacy, and other important causes.

• Event activities provided by the organizations, including prize wheels, pumpkin decorating, starter plants, pet trivia, giant mad libs, official Chiefs merchandise, adoptable dogs and so much more.
