Event Description:
Jazz in the Valley, a free music festival on the MCC-Penn Valley campus, will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024. This year's performers include The Mighty Mo Jazz Orchestra and Stranded in the City.
The free jazz festival will be held outdoors near the Carter Art Center. If the weather is inclement, the event will move inside the Campus Center. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, water bottles or coolers (no alcohol is allowed on campus). Pets, firearms, tobacco and drugs are also prohibited.
Free parking will be available in the MCC garage on Pennsylvania Avenue between 32nd and 33rd streets.
Sponsorships for the event are also available for individuals, businesses and organizations. All proceeds raised will support MCC Penn Valley Students.
