The Chamber invites you to join business leaders and education experts for The Business Case for Pre-K, Wednesday March 20, Noon – 1:30 p.m. in our Board Room.
Expanding Pre-K access in Kansas City isn’t just a moral issue, it’s also an economic issue. Right now 40% of job openings posted in the region require a post-secondary education degree, but just 36% of Kansas Citians hold those degrees.
Panelists include:
Julia Barfield, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Center for Education and Workforce
Jennifer Landrum, former President & CEO of the Denver Preschool Program
Clyde McQueen, President and CEO of the Full Employment Council
Matt Condon, Founder and CEO of Bardavon Health Innovations
